What Walker Sands Can Do for You
As a Walker Sands Account Director, you will work with a team of passionate PR pros at your back, you'll get to manage the accounts of 5-6 technology and B2B clients: nurturing client relationships, developing strategy, forging influential media contacts - basically, doing whatever it takes to drive meaningful PR outcomes for our clients.
Along the way, you will participate in our firm's culture of constant learning, accumulating valuable lessons from the bleeding edge of the field and swapping insights with people both inside and outside of the firm.
But most importantly, your role as an Account Director will give you a reason to want to get out of bed in the morning and the satisfaction of reaping real results from the hard work you invest in your career.
The Perfect Candidate for Walker Sands
For the Account Director role, we're looking for people with 4-6 years of agency PR experience, preferably in the fields of technology and/or B2B. We also expect that you will have experience managing accounts and staff since this position will require you to supervise a team of three junior PR team members.
A bachelor's degree in a related field and a strong knowledge base in the areas of technology, social media, marketing and PR are prerequisites. When it comes to personal characteristics, you need to be extremely articulate, organized, detail-oriented, creative and ambitious.
And you need to have flawless writing skills. A background in journalism is a huge plus.
